hi,
i've searched some through the forums (and elsewhere), but i can't find an answer so i figured i'd try a new thread.
i have a hard drive connected to my home router; it has my music on it. i've installed lms 7.7.4 on my laptop (windows 8.1). when i go into lms, the default libraries are on c:/. when i try to add the network storage (mapped as z:/), nothing shows up. i've tried adding the unc path name, but that doesn't add anything if i type it in manually (maybe i'm typing it wrong?)
under a previous installation of lms, i could browse to z:/music, but the program gave me some text about not being logged in as an administrator. further, after i added the z:/music folders, they didn't appear to save--i would go back in, and the default c:/documents folders would appear again as the libraries.
how do i get lms to recognize the music on my network drive as a library?
thanks!
