I have just installed the latest version of LMS on a new PC running Windows XP Home (SP3).
LMS says it is starting but does not start. In Diagnostics I get "possible software conflict" - none of the boxes in LMS to take input of usernames / passwords actually take any input.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success.
I have just bought this refurbished PC with the idea of using it as a music server for my Touch - so can anyone please help.
There is no Anti Virus yet and I have even turned off Windows Firewall in case this was the problem.
Any ideas - I have seen other threads with people having similar problems but I cannot seem to find the definitive answer.
