AppleScript to display currently playing Radio track

Hot on the heels of my little AppleScript to display LMS's currently playing track in a notification https://gist.github.com/spiffin/7c40c5d6a8e205d47ac4, I've knocked together another one to display the current track playing on FIP Radio.

I listen to FIP via LMS. It doesn't publish track names in its audio feed - but it does via a Twitter feed. So, thanks to another AppleScript add-on from Mousedown - Twitter Scripter - you can pull in and display current track details.

The script is here: https://gist.github.com/spiffin/ae1366cc69a11839ed52. Obviously it's Mac only and requires the free Twitter Scripter helper - from the URL above.

This should work with any radio station which publishes a feed of currently playing tracks to Twitter (just change the Twitter account name).

I save the script as an application and run it from a keyboard shortcut - so, if I'm listening to FIP while on my Mac, I just hit a key to see what's playing.

BTW you can change the notification icon by Control-clicking on the script application to Show Package Contents and then going to Contents > Resources and replacing the applet.icns file.

Hope someone finds it useful.
