I've recently "upgraded" to 7.7.2 from I'm not sure what version, hoping to resolve some minor issues only to find this current release version (which has not been updated for 9 months) is far worse than any version I've used since I bought my first Squeezebox in 2004. The database mutilates the collection data. I get duplicate artists and tracks for every track in a playlist. If I disable the playlist folder (very begrudgingly) duplicates go away, but I still have albums missing from the album list or album searches, but I can search for songs or artists then link to the album and play it.
Does anyone have a favorite old version of the server application that they recommend that has rock-solid database features? I can't recall the last version I had that worked as expected.
