Hi
After many good years serving up music to my duets and classics I thought I'd tick the extra option to index my photo albums on the same WHS V1 and use my Sony Bravia TV to view them.
I had trouble getting the photos to be indexed as it would simply just stop. So I left it a while and then my server crashed which meant a rebuild. On completion of that my music was once again served up brilliantly and my photos indexed successfully.
But I still can't view them on the TV. LMS appears as a server, but only under TV's XMB menu under Music. Once navigated to the LMS under the XMB heading of Music I can see options for Music, Photos & Videos. If I select Photos I can navigate my Photo albums folders. But as soon as I navigate into a folder I get a message saying there's nothing to display.
Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong or expecting of LMS?
If we can get this cracked I'd like to extend LMS to indexing and displaying my Videos too.
Any help greatly appreciated. Have searched and searched but found next to nothing about serving up these other media types.
TIA.
