There's no such thing as a release plan for 7.9. While it's seen a lot
of changes, I would consider it rather stable. But as it's still in
development, there can be broken releases every now and then. Or bugs we
haven't discovered yet. That said I wouldn't hesitate to install it at
this moment, as I haven't seriously touched it in a while, only tried to
fix bugs. And this shouldn't change for the next few weeks, as I'll be
busy with other things.
