I am now using LMS to a new PC which is running Windows 8.1.
Previously I had LMS 7.9 running on a PC with Windows Vista.
I have downloaded the latest LMS build - Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1428327734 @ Tue Apr 7 04:05:31 CUT 2015
But my Transporter is not being detected and the music database scan does not appear to be working.
I have gone into settings and set Media Folders and Playlist Folders to point to the folders that contain my music and playlist files.
