This has bugged me for a while, though it's scarcely a major issue. Having just altered the final audio end of one of my systems, it is however annoying!
I use DEFAULT INTERFACE in LMS, and I usually control the volume of my Classics and Touches from LMS itself Less often using their remotes. And I don't use any phone apps.
On the remotes, there is a 1 - 100% volume scale: very smooth it is too. But in LMS (I think in all interfaces) I only have 10 x discrete 10% steps. Any way of getting a more fine-grained volume control in LMS? I'm finding that I often need, eg, 36%, not 30% or 40% .... Seems odd that I can't do that. Maybe there's a fix I don't know about?
