Monitoring server

Here's the setup . . . HP NAS with LMS cabled direct to router. PC hard wired to router, with 4 Logitech devices WI-FI to the router.

Have a Boom playing in one room. I'm sitting at my PC working and thought to open LMS on my PC and listen to what is playing on the Boom at the other end of the house. LMS shows what is playing, but not possible to play it through my PC at my desk.

I can't recall ever even trying to do this before with two devices playing at same time so no recollection or nothing to compare this to. I 'can' synchronize two of the Booms to play what is streaming.

Is this even possible? I have no issue if the Boom is off playing through the PC.
