I'm running 7.8 on win 7.
I have about 1500 songs in the library. But because I share the Touch with my wife, I want to somehow access only the songs I like and she wants to access only the songs she likes. Obviously there are song/albums we both like.
Then based on 'my' songs only, I want to play / shuffle / Random etc from my Android phone?
I asked similar question on another thread and Michael suggest 7.9 has some type of Library filter. I have not tried this.
I thought about setting up separate folders for 'My songs' and 'Wife songs', but, what do you do with the songs we both like?
Next thought was I could set up some sort of Playlist (which type?) with the songs I like and my wife could do the same? Then I could play / shuffle / random 'my' songs?

When I add new music (eg rip CD) that I like, I guess I would need to manually add it to the playlist?
Suggestions welcome ( and some simple steps for me to follow)
