I was playing some older music yesterday, listening to several variations of a song. I was interested in how the lyrics varied from one version to another, so I would sometimes pull the song back over the same lyric segment several times in order to catch the lyric variations. I was using headphones connected to my Android phone, using SBPlayer as the player and SqueezeCntrl as the control, on the same phone.
I was able to pull back song position on almost all songs by simply pulling the song-position slider back. The exception was for older tracks I'd ripped using WMA lossless, where the position display didn't have the little round button on the right side of the bar, just a gradually lengthening bar. I could not pull back the song to re-hear particular positions.
So, is this a limitation of WMA in the LMS environment, or is it an issue with the player or the control? Anyone know?
