I'm doing some work analysing the LMS database and producing a database enquiry tool (using Libreoffice BASE). I've worked out what most of the tables are for (those that interest me anyway) and how they work.
However, I'd quite like to see the artwork for each album/track. In the track table in library.db I see what appears to be a hex link to the artwork in column coverid , but I can't make any sense of it. There's also a cover column that I can't figure out. Neither seem to match the decimal column 'k' in table cache in artwork.db I'm also unclear what format the artwork in column 'v' in the cache table in artwork.db is in. (Note that I have the option to cache artwork set). Can anyone elucidate this for me?
If there's a document,or forum thread, somewhere explaining this I'll happily go there to find out, but I've so far failed to find one. I did once find a schema diagram, but no more than that.
