Hi;
I may have found a potential bug in LMS or the Web UI, and I wanted to post my thoughts and see if I am on to something (or just a user error).
I haven't posted alot, but I am not new to squeezebox land, I have been enjoying my devices and reading the great info in this forum for years.
Anyhow...I have 4 players, one touch, and 3 receivers. I control using the web UI, touch, 2 controllers, and squeezecntrl on my android. I am running LMS 7.7.5 (last official?)
Here's the situation - everybody has been playing nice for months, very stable. I opened the web UI to play a receiver, then realized I had a new rip to flac that needed import, so I did the "add/rescan" from the web UI. Nornally I do it from the "control panel". When it was done, I went to play, and found that all of the controllers were no longer visible to the Web UI, then on further check, to anything. So, one by one I just pulled and replugged the power on each controller, and they came back into the system.
I haven't tried to recreate, as I would rather just play and enjoy right now, but would be happy to on request...or, perhaps this is a known thing
Cheers
Jim
