Port 9000 on LMS not working

Hi,

I have a Vortex box running LMS, for some reason when i click on Squeezebox Server (http://192.168.6.5:9000/) it does not connect open the LMS. But when i paste ttp://192.168.6.5:9001 into my web browser it works.
So change it to 9000 in Setting/Advanced and Network i here you say. But No each time i try then hit apply. It reverts back to 9001.

If i change it to 9002 all is OK! Just seems to have an issue with 9000.

any help greatly appreciated.
