AAC Streams Issue with SB Classic (LMS 7.9) stops playing, desync, glitches

Hi,
I am having big troubles with unreliable playback of AAC streams.
Take for instance Radio Paradise's 128kbps AAC stream: http://www.radioparadise.com/m3u/aac-128.m3u
When playing on SB Radio (single) or two Radios in sync, everything is always fine, since they handle AAC natively.
However, when playing on a SB Classic (alone) or in sync with SB Radio, then the stream gets transcoded by the server with use of faad/flac.

Sooner or later (I could not determine any specific condition under which it would go bad, either amount of data, or period of time, it can happen within minutes or sometimes after an hour or two):
- audio glitches can be heard occassionaly (sort of "whips", beeps or skips),
- when synced SB Classic with another player, playback would desync and would not automatically sync back,
- or stop playing completely (faad/flac processes disappear) though the interface shows it's still playing, but it's dead silent.

I tested it on two devices: Qnap NAS TS-119 under SSOTS environment (various versions of 7.9, unix tarball),
AND on a Rasperry Pi 3 with a completely clean installation of the newest available LMS 7.9 version (all.deb package).

Qnap uses Fixed Point version of FAAD and Raspberry Pi uses Floating Point version.
I also tried another FAAD version, followed instructions on http://raspberry-at-home.com/logitech-media-server/ but that did not help, the same issues occurred.

On the other hand for example, Spotify + Protocol Handler plugins also transcode the stream (using some other transcoders as far as I know), but the playback there is completely fine without any issues.

Anyone else experienced these issues? I hope I am not the only one...
