The hard drive on my FitPC (500gb) is getting full. It's a dedicated device, used only for running LMS and serving music to my systems.
In anticipation of the day when nothing else will fit, I'm in the process of buying a 1 TB 2.5" drive to replace the one that's there. The current configuration is WinXP, and i could probably find a way to maintain the current licence on the new hard drive, but am thinking of upgrading to Win8. I seem to recall reading that LMS works fine on Win 8.
On the other hand, XP on the current drive is stable.
What do you guys think? Win 8 is fairly cheap at the moment, so cost is not really an issue.
