I have a Squeezebox Touch for 2 years now, but I never liked the software of this player. I have an external 1.5 TB HDD full of music and if I connect it directly to the ST it takes "years" to scan it and manage it. I have for some time used LMS on a computer that is not very powerful, but the situation is not much better.
My dream is that there is a very lightweight version of the LMS software that can works on both the ST and a pc (old or new).
I would like that this version has these features:
- NO scan, NO database!
- ONLY find music with navigate folders on a device (USB, SD, LAN, ...)
- ability to manage playlists and add music from any folder added "on the fly"
There is the possibility of obtaining a version of this kind of LMS?
