Sorry I posted this a few days ago in the Touch forums, but as yet have had no replies so I thought I'd try here!
I'm having an annoyance, not an issue just an annoyance with album artwork on the Touch.
All my albums have artwork, I can see them directly in my music folder, I can see them in LMS 7.7.2.
On the Touch all artwork is shown on the Now Playing screen, so not a major problem, but:
When I use the remote to go to My Music > Artist >, I cannot see the album art for artists that are not on a compilation album. If there is a compilation album in that listing then I see all the album art, even for the albums that are exclusively that artist. But if I select an artist that only has their own albums listed (i.e. not on a compilation) I do not see album art only the name of the album in large text.
If I use My Music > Artist >, by actually touching the Touch (i.e small text) then the album art is shown for all albums, whether a compilation or not is included in the listing, and indeed if I change the remote skin to small text all the artwork is shown!
Also if I use My Music > Albums >, then all artwork shows for all albums!
I've now cleared the cache and done a rescan and made sure the artwork has pre-cached, but still get the same result.
Is this normal behaviour or am I missing something?
As said before, when playing the artwork shows fine. I hope this makes sense!
