LMS on Ubutu Linux 12.10 - Scanner refuses to run

Hey all,

Downloaded Ubuntu 12.10 (first Linux experience) then proceded to download the latest (non-beta) LMS from Logitech.

All installed fine, and LMS does run fine at startup because I can see 'UBUNTU' as the server when I open iPeng on my iPhone.

The problem is, when I try to run the scanner, nothing happens. Nothing. Not even an error message.

Any ideas how I can access the scanner?
