How-To Clear cache of discovered players, and the ramifications of doing so

Hi,

One of the plugins I have started using is showing a large number of disconnected players. This makes sense because I have many, many spares, plus all the software players I've tinkered with over the last several years.

So as the title says,

1. How do you clear cache of discovered players?
2. What are the ramifications of doing so with regard to LMS and the various plugins?
