Fine grained album sorting - ideas anyone?

I am a bit OCD it has to be said but I file all my vinyl albums alphabetically by artist and then by album release date

As an example

Fairport Convention
Fairport Convention (1968)
What we did on our holidays (1969)
Unhalfbricking (1969)
Liege & lief (1969)
Full House (1970)
etc
etc

I can't figure any way of making LMS do the same - I get the following as albums are sorted by year then alphabetically

Fairport Convention
Fairport Convention (1968)
Liege & lief (1969)
Unhalfbricking (1969)
What we did on our holidays (1969)
Full House (1970)
etc
etc

Anyone any ideas how I can "correct" things in LMS ?
