I have added an "Old School" Slimp3 to my very stable setup.
LMS is on a Pi and the Slimp3 and the Duet are wired to it.
Slimp3 will play all tracks consistently when not synced. As will the Duet.
When sync'ed, I can play mp3s with no problem, but flac files are troublesome and usually don't play. (I'm only saying usually as I think a couple of times I've skipped forwards or back and a flac has successfully started. 95%+ unplayable.)
BBC iPlayer is also rock solid (whether sync'ed or not).
Would love to some steer as to what to investigate!
