Newbie alert: I hope this is the right forum to post this... If it should be in 3rd party let me know and I will repost there. But I think I have an issue with LMS scans and not my addins.
I am in the process of ripping my CD collection to a storage device (attached to my router by an Ethernet connection), and I have come across a peculiar problem. When I have completed a scan, any music by Leo JanÄek is nowhere to be found in my CustomBrowse menus. The files are there in subdirectories under the general directory "JanÄek, Leo" (I use sorted composer names as an overall directory structure) and they show up in Windows Explorer and Mp3tag v2.54. But in Squeezebox menus configured with CustomBrowse (and in the builtin SB menu also) the listed composers show nothing between Charles Ives and Zoltn Kodly. It can't be the presence of diacritical marks - composers such as Kodly and Bartk are rendered correctly. I thought at first that the fact that the first performer whose JanÄek music I ripped was Rudolf Firkun could indicate an upper limit on the number of diacritical marks allowed, but there is no music of JanÄek, not even his Glagolitic Mass conducted by Charles Mackerras, which has no diacritical marks. And that seems a pretty far-fetched theory.
So I am at a loss, and if any of you experts here can suggest any possible reason(s) for the failure to scan this one composer I would be very grateful to hear it.
Possibly relevant info on my setup:
LMS 7.7.2 r33893 running on 64 bit Windows 7
MultiLibrary, CustomScan and CustomBrouse used to configure menus.
