Hi folks,

I have a really strange behavior from my LMS... but first of all a little information about my setup:

- Audio files are stored on my NAS (flac and mp3 audio)
- LMS on an Intel NUC - 7.9.1 - 1511768958 @ Mon Nov 27 14:31:50 UTC 2017
- Various Software Players like Squeezelite or Android Clients.

Previously LMS was installed on my NAS too, but this was a bit to heavy for the NAS so I decided to outsource LMS to another machine.

In general everythings works fine. But now I recognized a real strange behavior.

When I try to play some of my files they're not found, folders seem to be empty when I browse through my library with a squeeze client, checked the web interface, these folders are empty there too. If I look on my NAS all files are displayed correctly and I can play them with other players e.g. Foobar2000 or others.

Purged and rescanned the library a couple times with no luck... problem is still there!

I haven't made any changes to my music folders on NAS... with my previous install all files where correctly displayed and playable in LMS. I think it cant be a permission problem, because files in other folders are working. If there was a problem with permission all or none folders would have worked.

When files in a folder aren't playable, the cover art for the folder is missing too. i can browse into that empty "album folder" and nothing is displayed. If I open the context menu on the folder, I can say "Play the Files" then LMS is starting an empty playlist...

Don't know whats causing that problem. think I'm going slightly mad with that...

There is no noticable concept which files are displayed and playable and which not.

cheers,

Dan
