Hi,
I am new to the forum and apologize in advance if somehow I missed the answers posted.
Through the threads, I found a post taking me to the latest versions of LMS 7.9.1. dtd. 17 APR 18. I'm using Windows 10 on intel based computers. Which is the best download for me to use? I'm not familiar with the different variations and the operating systems. I do have multiple units in different rooms.
Is there a direct link on the forum for the updated software? As I said, I found the link to the 17 APR page ferreting through the different posts. I've been downloading LMS from the Logitech website, so 7.7.6 is the latest version I have ever been able to download. I was having a few problems with it not properly updating my library, transposing album covers, etc. and the only solution I could find was to uninstall it, clean my computer of all old files, and reinstall. Usually that would fix it.
Also, I've been using Windows Media Server to rip my music and as a library source. It's marginal at best and it's catalog of music to match to a CD is pretty limited compared to others. Often I end up ripping with Nero or Roxio and end up revising the entries with mp3Tag and then go back into WMS to add album art. Can anyone suggest a better program for ripping that has a larger database of music that is very compatible with LMS?
Thanks for your help.
