Is it possible to sort by combined alpha/numeric combination?

I am using Mp3tag to tag audio files, many of which are downloads/rips of vinyl LPs. I prefer to number the tracks by including the side of the record and the number of the track, e.g. A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, B1, B2, B3, B4, B5. When I do this, Media Server ignores the alpha designations and therefore plays the tracks in the following order: A1, B1, A2, B2, A3, B3, A4, B4, A5, B5. Is there some way to cause Media Player to list and play the tracks in the same order as designated by Mp3tag? I have tried various ways of sorting the tracks in Mp3tag, e.g. by track, by title, by filename, etc. However, I have not found a way to get the tracks to play in the right order. I have also added the track numbers to the title in Mp3tag. However, Media Player still lists and plays the tracks in the order indicated, i.e. by ignoring the alpha designations (A, B, etc.). I will greatly appreciate any help you are able to provide. Unfortunately I have designated a very large number of albums in this way without realizing that the tracks were not being listed and played in the right order.
