Does "status" work in CLI 7.7.2 r33908?

I got a new touch and a new rack mount VortexBox that both run 7.7.2 r33908 and my AMX interface doesn't work completely with them. Earlier versions work fine but not these devices running this version of LMS. Even sending strings manual using Indigo (Shade Blue) all I get is echo responses when sending CLI request, mainlly the "status" request.
