Podcasts - how to use?

I’m using LMS 7.9.0 and the Podcast plugin is active. I’ve found and entered the RSS URL for a podcast I want to listen to and when I go to the podcast app o the web interface, that podcast appears to load and the episodes show up!along with the icon for that podcast. Very neat. But when I try to play any of the podcasts, I get no audio and the progress bar and play time indicator do not change. In other words, it’s not playing.

I’ve tried a few other podcasts with similar results. What am I missing here? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
