Hi there!
I'm using LMS 8.2.0 / Squeezelite on Vortexbox with a Topping D10 DAC.
I noticed that when playing DSF/DSS files, the Alsa process shows
[root@player ~]# cat /proc/asound/D10/pcm0p/sub0/hw_params
access: MMAP_INTERLEAVED
format: S32_LE
subformat: STD
channels: 2
rate: 176400 (176400/1)
period_size: 1764
buffer_size: 7056
When, I guess, it should show something related to DSD on the format entry.
The DSDPlayer config page shows
This player supports native playback of DSD files. DSD-over-PCM should be configured on the player configuration interface.
So, Native DSD is detected for the D10 dac.
Furthermore, on the Advanced > File Types configuration page, the DFF and DSF file types are configured as Native for the DSF and DFF streams and as dsdplay for Flac streams. Could this be the culprit? I find this configuration page a bit cumbersome.
The Audio device for squeezelite has the following options set: front:CARD=D10,DEV=0 -D 250
Can anybody shed some light here?
