I am running pCP 8.0.0 64-bit with LMS running but not Squeezelite; I have setup a USB drive with all music files allowing SAMBA access. All appears to be fine except that I cannot write to the disk from Windows 10.
The disk is in NTFS format and I have run "Set Write Permissions" which seems to have worked (it is a little slow!). After a reboot I attempted to add a new folder (error - catastrophic failure!) and I attempted to copy a set of files to the main music folder - W10 reported that the disk was Read only. The SAMBA share was created with "Create File Mode" set to 0775, I did try 0777 but that does not work either. Password for samba share is set to standard for user "tc".
So how do I check the actual write permissions?
