For standardizing my local music metadata in LMS (8.1.1) with the Spotify metadata (this is mandatory for wonderful Michael Herger’s Spotty plug-in to work correctly), I checked my 1208 local albums. Some of You helped me with some problems I had.
Anyway I have some problems that I did not solve:
I have an OST from film “Master and Commander”. There are various artists. If the artist is new (I have no this artist in my local list), the author is not added to artist list. If the author is not new (I have this artist in the list), I can see this artist as author of the album.
Example:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is in my Artist list. The album is added to the Mozart’s albums
Yo-yo ma. I have not this artist. The author is not added to the artists list.
If I add a Yo-yo ma album (for example “Yo-yo ma plays Ennio Morricone”, using Spotify), I can see Yo-yo ma in the artist list with both albums.
What it’s happening? Could you help me?
