Good Evening All......
This is my current setup.....
Squeezebox Server 7.9.0 running on a Synology NAS DS209......so proper old!
Players
Receiver connected to a stereo though the AUX In of a Mini Hifi (DAB - no DAB Plus) in my office area.
Touch connected to the AV receiver in the lounge
2 x Radio (unfortunately one of them is having a power issue - no charge on different leads or the battery when charged in the other unit)
1 x Boom (dodgy / loose DC In socket - so you move the unit and it powers off)......
Due to the issues with the Radio and Boom, I have an old Android mobile on wifi which I have the Squeezeplayer App and then Bluetooth to a Transmart speaker when out in the BBQ Shack (or I use a streaming provider or TuneIn direct)......
I'm just wondering what's the best way forward here.......a lot of my "historic" music is on the NAS in MP3 / FLAC format. I see a few mentions about running LMS on a Raspberry Pi......but I wonder whether its "worth" getting the units repaired.....the Radio's were in the kid's bedrooms but they have a small circular device from a company that does quite well with a Search Engine.....
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated :-)
