Normalise tag cases of album or artists e.g. The the etc. to avoid multiple entries

I often see multiple entries of the form:

Gang of Four
Gang Of Four

A Place to Bury Strangers
A Place To Bury Strangers


Yes I know I should go through and retag all my library but it'd be really handy if the first letters of artists and albums could be normalised to upper case to avoid duplications by default.
I'm sure this must have been asked before but I couldn't find anything.
