Radio and Touch not connecting to LMS

Had a weird problem starting from a week or so ago. I've got three squeezeboxes, a boom, touch and radio. Both the touch and radio have both lost contact with my LMS installation for some reason. They are still connected to mysqueezebox.com and can play internet radio stuff through that.

LMS: was on latest stable build 8.2.1, now v8.2.0 1627922070. Also tried 8.3.0 - 1642339975. All installed using the LMS community docker image.
Radio firmware: was on something like 8.0.1-r16855 (not the latest), now 7.7.3-r16676. Not able to connect with either
Touch firmware: 7.8.0 r16754
Boom firmware: 57

They are all on the same subnet (192.168.1.*), and all have a strong wifi connection

I've tried a few things to fix this:
  • rebooting the router
  • updating firmware and network software on the router (Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro)
  • reinstalling LMS and changing LMS versions (latest/stable/dev). I didn't try the official logitech version.
  • clearing the LMS cache/config and reinstalling from scratch
  • reverting to official firmware on the radio
  • updating all the software packages on the computer running LMS (it's a centos stream box)

None of these seemed to help. And unfortunately the fresh reinstall of the LMS means I lost the old logs. But they didn't contain any errors.

I think this happened in one of the steps I was trying to update the radio firmware to a later version. I no longer have the error logs (since reinstalling the whole thing) but the radio said it wanted to update to a later community firmware version so I selected it as usual. The firmware downloaded to the radio and it tried to install but then it rebooted and came back with the same firmware as before with no errors in the LMS, and asked to update again. I did this a few times and put the logging to debug but couldn't find anything in the logs - all it said was that it needed updating and that the "baby" firmware version downloaded by LMS was the latest. The radio and touch both lost contact after one of the things I tried to fix this - I think either when I updated LMS to a later version, or when I updated the network software on my router. Not 100% sure of which caused the problem.

I'm still trying a few things to connect the devices but any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this would be great!
