I've been using LMS for more than 10 years but don't recall when this occurred for the first time: A shuffled playlist that is left off and restarted at a later point in time will no longer resume at exactly the position at which it was previously stopped but at the very first position. So every time I return to that same playlist - without having listened to a different list in between - it starts with the very first song and moves on in the same order as previously. This was not the case earlier: I would then be returned to the exact same song as the one I had left off with.
I do believe my LMS settings are correct:
Player > Audio > Power On Resume: "Pause at power off / Resume at power on"
MyMusic > Maintain Client Playlists: "Remember Playlist"
MyMusic > Reshuffle on Repeat: "Leave in same order"
MyMusic > Save Shuffled Playlist: "Save playlists in shuffled order"
Here's my LMS status:
Logitech Media Server Version: 8.3.0 - 1642697903 @ Thu 20 Jan 2022 06:26:24 PM CET
Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8
Platform Architecture: armv7l-linux
Perl Version: 5.28.1 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int
Audio::Scan: 1.05
IO::Socket::SSL: 2.060
Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0)
Total Players Recognized: 1
Could anyone - please - help me out in tracing the cause for this behavior? Many thanks in advance.
