(Gave up on the docker image, but now direct install problems)
Installed on arch linux system from the AUR. On installation it creates a 'logitechms' user:group and I added my user to the logitechms group.
I have set group RW permissions for /opt/logitechmediaserver (plugins folder, logs, pref...)
I can add music folders from the system and play music fine through my Touch. But in settings, when I click on the plugins tab, it takes forever to load, doesn't include 3rd party plugins such as material skin.
