Buffering as a topic is usually problems / issues. This is the opposite - great buffering! Maybe it's always been like this, but not, I think! - in my experience....
Listening yesterday to the BBC R3 Sunday Drama stream - Shakespeare's Othello - via LMS / BBC Sounds plug-in Live Stream, pushed to a Touch. 2 hours 10 mins of excellent drama. But, 45mins in, I had to Pause the stream to attend to something else. A full hour later I thought I'd get back to it, and at least hear the end. What I expected on hitting Play on the Touch (actually on LMS) was a few minutes of buffered stream from when I had paused, and then a stop-jump to where the stream then was in real time, with just under 30 mins to play. But, the stream picked up exactly where I had paused and then played the rest of the drama, uninterrupted, for well over an hour, right to the end. Just to be sure, when I restarted, I pushed a fresh stream of the play via LMS to a Radio - yes, real time was an hour ahead of the buffered stream.
No complaints at all! But I don't think I've ever had a hour or so of buffered live stream before. "Usual", or not?
