What version of LMS are you using? Only a few days ago I applied a few
changes to 8.3 to address scanner issues, some of which dealt with case
sensitivity. Unless you're already running the very latest 8.3 I'd
strongly recommend you give it a try:

You might need to delete the library.db after the update to make all
changes work.
