Help getting RTSP or RTMP to play on LMS

Good afternoon,

For a number of years we've enjoyed listening to New Zealand-based FM station The Sound on our Squeezeboxes throughout the house. In April they changed their streaming platform from a legacy Windows Media platform to a WOWZA server. That ended our string of uninterrupted listening. I've recently been able to identify three separate URL/MRL identifiers from which their current stream will play:

rtmpe://live-non-geo.mediaworks.co.nz/live/thesound_64kbps

rtmp://live-non-geo.mediaworks.co.nz/live/thesound_64kbps

rtsp://live-non-geo.mediaworks.co.nz/live/thesound_64kbps

I've been able to play all three URLs from http://iptv-player.com. The last URL will play directly from VLC but the first two won't. I've been able to create a temporary workaround where I've been able to use VLC to set up my own local MP3 stream that is transcoded from The Sound's AAC stream. I am able to pick up this local stream and play it successfully on my Squeezebox platforms.

My question is this: is there a more elegant solution that will allow me to simply set up an appropriate plugin on my LMS (ver. 7.7.2) which currently runs on my Netgear Duo NAS? I'd like to avoid needing to set up VLC on a parallel machine.

Thanks for any assistance that you can provide!
