I am running LMS Version: 8.2.1 via Daphile 22.01-b161653-x86_64, with 3 players all using the same LMS Daphile version. The players are on mini-PCs (NUCs with Celeron processors).
One player, call it "DSP player", which is also the Server, sends digital audio output through a DSP (Digital Signal Processing) program running in a separate Windows machine. This DSP introduces playback delay needed for convolution.
With Player Audio Delay = 2300 ms, the DSP player synchronizes with other players while playing music.
However, even with the maximal Player Start Delay = 3000 ms, the startup of the DSP player is behind the other players.
Is there a way to increase the maximal Player Start Delay?
