How to get rid of update message?

Recently this message has appeared at the bottom of the LMS window:
A new version of Logitech Media Server is available. (Click here)

Quite apart from the fact I don't want any updates until my major complaint is fixed, clicking on that link does NOT implement the update! It just shows some history info in the left pane, with a 'More' link at the end. Clicking that link takes me to what looks like a list of bugs that have been fixed(?) in the latest release. (Mine hasn't! :-(

So how do I stop this message cluttering my message space until the next major update?
