Fresh install - scanning & playing problems

Hi,

Recently I did an new install of my LMS. Since then I have noticed that I have issues playing some media (+ some missing) and its finally annoyed me enough to look deeper. A couple of issues.

1. This is a sample log error from the scanner;

[22-11-11 20:02:15.3749] Slim::Formats::Playlists::CUE::parse (445) Error: Couldn't find referenced FILE: [/media/music/flac/Various Artists/Ministry Of Sound - Chilled Acoustic - 2010/Ministry Of Sound - Chilled Acoustic - [Disc 1](oan)/05 - Chemical Brothers - Where Do I Begin.wav] on disk! Skipping!

Checked all the permissions etc which are consistent with stuff that is working but then I noticed that the file on disk is actually a FLAC !!! Obviously why its not found, but why look for the .wav file in the first place ?????

2. It seems that mp3 files will not play - sample error;

[22-11-11 18:12:36.1466] Slim::Player::Song::open (417) Error: Couldn't create command line for mp3 playback for [file:///media/music/flac/Beck/Odelay-MP3/216-beck-burro.mp3]

Again permissions are ok and LMS is able to scan these correctly, just not play them.


Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I tried searching but no luck, though I am sure that the answer is likely in the forums somewhere !
