OK so I accept I'm possibly the only person using the DNLA plugin in LMS to stream videos.
As most folks would probably realise using Music Folder will allow you to play music that's been added since the last scan, it will also add the tracks to the database making a scan unnecessary. Very handy feature. Surprisingly this on the fly scanning also works when accessing using DNLA as opposed to a SB player
Does anybody know if it's possible for this same behaviour to also work if using folder view via a DNLA player for videos? My experience is that the files will show up but are unplayable until a scan has been completed.
Again I realise I'm in a small minority using LMS for video and its not a massive priority for me as I simply do a scan after adding files but it would be nice if no didn't have to.
