Squeezeplayer

I have been using SoftSqueeze to get a virtual SB on my pc. This SW seems to be discontinued and replaced by something called "Squeezeplayer". What is this and does it work like Softsqueeze, ie pops up like a Player in my apps?
The links for download only directs to LMS. Is it a part of the LMS sw? If so, I cant find a player looking around inside LMS.
