LMS 7.8 and firmware version

Hi all,

I had buyed an UE Smart Radio (few days ago). Now I have it "downgraded" to Squeezbox with official Way (via UER Menu).

Now I have installed the firmware 7.7.3r16667 - so far so good.

My question is now:

If I make an update to LMS 7.8, have I then an older firmware (baby_7.7.2_r9663.bin)?

So or so, can I install a new LMS and (if integrated) I have after always the correct firmware?
