Over the weekend, I replaced my music server computer with a newer machine. Both the old and the new ran/run LMS 7.7.3 and are connected to the same music library on an external hard drive. Both were/are connected to the hub via Ethernet. The old computer ran XP; the new one runs Win7.
Once a day (or so it seems), my 4 Squeezeboxes and iPeng all lose the library connection. I have to reboot the computer (sometimes twice) in order to get it back. I did not have this problem with the old server.
Any idea how I should begin to troubleshoot?
