Lately I have been using the random play function by track. I have some issues with it:
I am running 7.8.0 on an OpenSUSE 13.1 64-bit system.
- Often, it cuts off a track long before it has finished. For example, halfway through a movement of Beethoven's 5th. There are not any track endings at these places. I also have turned off crossfade on devices that support it.
- I question the randomness of the tracks. I have 61000 tracks in my collection, and I seem to get more repeats than I would expect. Selected tracks are also usually the first track of albums.
