streaming mp3 files from Windows PC to Logitech Squeeze client

Hello,
I have a Windows 7 PC. I'm able to stream mp3 files from my Windows 7 PC to the Logitech Squeeze device in the kitchen. I simply right click on the file, go to "Play To", and select the kitchen player. I think this feature came with installing the Logitech Media Server on this PC. The thing is, we usually use out tablet/android phone to connect to the kitchen logitech player via another dedicated computer running LMS.

But, my problem is my wife's laptop. I installed LMS on her laptop, hoping she would also be able to stream mp3 files directly from her laptop to the kitchen logitech player. No luck. The "Play To" option exists, and when we click the Kitchen player the music control windows shows up like normal and we see the mp3 file in the currently playing window, but the progress bar doesn't move, and no audio comes out. It's as if it's paused, not able to play.

So, trying to troubleshoot the issue only gave me more questions.

Maybe it's because her laptop is on wireless and my PC is hardwired ethernet? Well...I tried putting her laptop on wired ethernet, but still the same unhappy result - player window pops up but won't actually play. I tried putting my PC on wireless to see if I can still stream to the kitchen device...nope. The "Play To" context menu dissapears when my PC is on wireless. The menu option comes back when I put it back on hardwired ethernet. So...inconclusive.

I'm hoping someone here can enlighten me. Thanks very much.
