LMS Won't Connect to "My Apps"

I have a relatively simple setup. Macbook Pro 15 (Late 2011) running OS 10.9.2 and LMS 7.7.3 wirelessly to my SBT. I have a local music library and use Spotify and several other apps.

When I use LMS, the only thing showing in the "My Apps" section is a link to the website's App Gallery. If I want to play my apps, I have to go into settings on my SBT and into Advanced>Networking and select "Switch to my squeezebox.com". Now I'm back to the website using the popup remote control to access my apps, but then I lose my LMS connection to my SBT and have no ability to play my local library. I have to switch back to LMS to play my local files, losing the app connection again.

Is this a common issue? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff.

There is one possible reason I have run into. In System Preferences, under the "Account" tab, there's a place to enter your mysqueezebox..com username and password. It keeps telling me that my username and password are "invalid". I have no problem logging in to the website. I even reset my password and tried again to no avail. I have a feeling that if I can get System Preferences to recognise my account, I'll be good, but it won't accept it.

Update: I found a 3rd place that my username and password needs to be entered....sheesh.....in the Settings browser for LMS. So NOW, it seems like my username and password ARE being recognised by System Preferences, but NOT when I enter it in the mysqueezebox.com tab of the LMS Settings browser page!

Sorry for the goose chase, just trying to supply clear details.

Any assistance would be wonderful. Thanks!
