I need to upgrade from SC 7.3.3 so Squeezepad will work properly

I guess I made the mistake of always installing new versions of Squeezepad as they came available but I have stayed with SqueezeCenter 7.3.3 as it was very stable. Problem now is that Squeezepad doesn't work correctly so I'm ready to bite the bullet and upgrade to LMS.

I'm really worried that I will have all kinds of problems, so any advice anyone can give me would be appreciated.

I have 2 SB3's and a Controller
Windows 7
I plan to upgrade from SC 7.3.3 to LMS 7.7.3 (I have read that it is very stable)
Only plugin is SIRIUS Internet Radio (v1.0) (I'm in Canada)
Listen to flac's (1,100 albums), Internet Radio and Sirius
Connected via ethernet

My plan is to uninstall SC 7.3.3, reboot and install LMS 7.7.3. Am I correct that to download 7.7.3 I just click on the Sticky Welcome! thread in this Forum and click on: http://www.squeezebox.com/download/ (it defaults to LMS 7.7.3)

Will I have to do anything special after installing? Thanks for your help.
